

MERRIMACK PLAZA
Project Background: Dickinson Development of Quincy, MA owned the Merrimack Plaza, a multi-store shopping center located on Rt. 113 in Methuen, MA. Rich's Department Stores leased 70,000 s.f. of the 163,000 s.f. plaza. In 1994, Rich's closed their retail operations, forcing Dickinson to locate a new tenant for the vacated space.
Project Highlights:
Senate sub-divided 70,000 s.f. space into three (3) rental spaces after demolition of existing construction.
All MEP utilities were split for three new tenants.
Extensive work performed in plumbing, fire protection, HVAC and renovation.
All work had to be performed during shopping hours and extensive and thorough public safety became a major issue.
No accidents or existing tenant disruptions were experienced during the job.
