Owner-identified challenges and perceptions:
- Additional space needed to effectively operate business
- Paying himself rent would build equity and give him property that would generate income stream at retirement
- Owner needed to focus his time on running his business
- Process of evaluating proposed land, getting required permits and constructing his investment were not his area of expertise
Services Provided:
- Site analysis and construction budget
- Environmental certification for bank financing
- Soil analysis for site suitability
- Collaborated with Owner to develop plans for new facility
- Prepared plans and performed permitting required by town ordinances
- Provided Owner's bank with required construction documents to close on financing
- Provided energy efficient design
- Completed turnkey construction of new facility ready for move-in
