A two-phase project plan was created for both exterior and interior renovations to this more than 30-year-old hotel. Guest satisfaction and safety, while maintaining hotel appearance and functionality was of paramount concern. Senate worked closely with the hotel staff and subcontractors to provide a “business as usual” atmosphere and uninterrupted hotel operations.

The first phase involved a complete exterior renovation, including new EFIS covering, extension of parapets, and the removal and replacement of all exterior railing systems. The entranceway was transformed with the addition of a porte-cohere. Phase two included a total renovation of 100 guest rooms, including the conversion of five rooms for accessibility compliance. A health and fitness center was added. Each floor was completed in two to three weeks, including hallway remodeling, electrical upgrades, and installation of fire sprinkler systems in each room. Senate totally renovated all public areas, main entrance, part of the restaurant, function rooms and pool area.
