Senate Construction Awarded CMAA New England Project Achievement Award
SHIRLEY, MA (April 18, 2018) – Senate Construction Corporation, one of the leading construction companies in Massachusetts, has been awarded a Project Achievement award from the Construction Managers Association of America (CMAA), New England Chapter for its outstanding work on the design/build of a 40,600 square foot addition to Integra Companies’ corporate headquarters in Devens, MA.
“We’re honored that our work has been recognized by such a prestigious organization,” said Senate Construction CEO Bob France. “The Integra addition was special for us, because we were working for a repeat client with a unique and challenging project that required us to think on our feet, proactively problem solve, and develop creative and thoughtful solutions to complex issues. We’re all really proud of the outcome and thrilled it has been singled out by CMAA.”
In 2001, Senate built Integra’s existing 30,000 square foot corporate headquarters. Years later, Integra began to outgrow that facility, and turned to Senate again to expand its building to accommodate for the exponential growth. The 40,600 square foot addition includes 20,600 square feet of office space and 20,000 square feet of warehouse. Both spaces are Butler buildings, but this project is unique in that the warehouse was pre-engineered and the office space was built conventionally. Senate’s team worked tirelessly in preconstruction to ensure the two structures would integrate seamlessly.
